You will report to the Chairman & CEO on the overall management of the trading/sales activities of heavy equipment parts in Australia.

Job Description:

  • To provide leadership to the operations, sales and trading teams to deliver products and services at the required lead-time, best quality and costs.
  • To ensure optimum inventory level is maintained, and work closely with all departments to ensure monthly financial KPIs are met.
  • Purchasing costs saving management (setting targets/tracking/monitoring).
  • Oversee management and set directions for Store, Purchasing and Quality Control.
  • Ensuring monthly sales target are met (ie, orders are shipped out on time per forecast).
  • Management of inventory levels.
  • Oversee the facilities maintenance/improvement.
  • Ability to plan, co-ordinate and manage the daily operations including that of logistics, quality assurance, accountings and HR.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum three years’ sales/trading experience of heavy equipment parts would be an added advantage
  • Wide network is essential
  • Goal oriented, mature and possess good interpersonal and management skills
  • Those who are available immediately will have added advantage

Sr Portfolio Manager / Manager
Our client is a well established financial institute with its branch in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and determine portfolio strategy. Research and monitor investments within a defined large cap universe as well as uncovering new opportunities outside that universe.

  • Participate in Investment Committee to discuss global economic and market outlook, and impact on investment decisions in broad portfolios.

  • Responsible for continuously tracking global market movements and portfolio impact. Assist in trade execution, develop and maintain quantitative models to implement complex investment strategies.

  • Develop various investment reviews to illustrate portfolio positioning, investment themes and tactical trades and content of monthly investment meeting, including performance, allocations, portfolio risk metrics and contribution.


Requirements:
  • Degree holder from recognized university or above

  • Min 3 years of progressive experience in portfolio management, together with in-depth knowledge of global equities (in particular, the US and European markets) are important prerequisites. (Those with adequate experience will be considered for a senior portfolio manager position)

  • Proven track record in managing sizeable investment portfolios

  • Candidates should have prior experience reputable and established financial institutions

Responsibilities:

Provide financial/accounting and administration advice and advice to the senior management team.

Ensure appropriate financial procedures and practices are in place to effectively manage financial aspects of the organization; Interpret organization's policy as it affects the financial/accounting and administrative functions to ensure that all policies are adhered to.

  • Reporting to the General Manager and with dotted line responsibility to the Chief Financial Officer based in Hong Kong, the incumbent is responsible for the full spectrum of the finance and accounting functions of garment factories in Africa
  • In charge of financial budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and monthly reporting
